BUOYS-R-US

The Marine Exchange manages and operates the West Seattle mooring buoys on behalf of BUOYS-R-US. This management includes taking reservations, maintaining buoys, and billing for the use of the buoy system, primarily used by the tug and barge industry.


BUOYS-R-US owns, maintains and operates two active and one reserve mooring buoys at the south end of Elliott Bay for the use and convenience of members of the marine towing industry in Puget Sound. BUOYS-R-US is incorporated in the state of Washington and is governed by a five-member Board of Directors.
